The voting has begun on the 'Дія' platform, where everyone aged 14 and older can choose members of Ukraine's national jury for Eurovision-2025. This was reported by 'Glavkom' referencing 'Suspilne'.

From March 24 to March 31 at 10:00, Ukrainians have the opportunity to select a five-member jury that will evaluate the performances of participants from other countries at Eurovision-2025 in Basel.

Voting process:

  1. Open the 'Дія' app.
  2. In the 'Services' section, select 'Survey'.
  3. Vote for one of the nine candidates.

List of candidates:

  • Melovin - singer, author, composer, and producer, representative of Ukraine at Eurovision-2018.
  • Tayanna - singer, composer, and songwriter.
  • Marko Halanovych - musician, frontman of the band 'DakhaBrakha'.
  • Ruslan Makov - show director and music video producer for Ukrainian stars.
  • Kateryna Pavlenko - singer, composer, and songwriter, member of the band Go_A.

Based on the results of the voting, a ranking will be compiled. Candidates who receive the most votes will be offered to sign commitments as members of Ukraine's national jury for Eurovision-2025.

The head of the jury will be the candidate with the most support during the voting. If any of the five cannot sign the commitment for valid reasons or due to the requirements of the European Broadcasting Union, the candidate with the next highest number of votes will take their place.

The composition of the national jury will be announced on May 17, the day of the Eurovision-2025 grand final. The Eurovision semifinals will be determined solely by viewers, but in the final, national juries will vote.

Ukrainian viewers will have the opportunity to vote for their favorites in the first semifinal on May 13, as this is when the representatives of Ukraine - the band Ziferblat with the song 'Bird of Pray' - will perform.

If for any reason the audience voting of Ukrainians does not take place in the first semifinal, a backup vote by the national jury will be used to calculate the overall results.

It is noted that the band Ziferblat will represent Ukraine at the 69th Eurovision Song Contest. The winner of the national selection has already presented a new version of their song 'Bird of Pray'.
