AI from Google solved a problem that scientists have been fighting over for 10 years

The artificial intelligence (AI) tool from Google has managed to solve a problem that scientists have been working on for ten years. This was reported by the newspaper The Independent, citing 'Glavkom'.

According to the publication, researchers from Imperial College London asked the AI model about the ability of superbugs to resist antibiotics. As a result, the tool provided several answers, one of which had already been discovered by scientists over the past ten years.

'Thus, the algorithm was able to learn from evidence, analyze options, pose questions, model experiments, and propose the same hypothesis we arrived at after years of careful research, but in a much shorter Time,' said Professor Jose Penades.

According to the scientists, this tool will help avoid 'dead-end situations' in research, but the need for real experiments will not disappear.

It is worth noting that earlier, the Turkish Ministry of Finance used artificial intelligence to identify astrologers, numerologists, and other specialists who avoid paying taxes.

Moreover, global banks plan to reduce or restructure up to 200,000 jobs over the next three to five years due to the ability of artificial intelligence to perform tasks that were previously handled by humans.
