The Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, Vitaliy Koval, called on agricultural producers to actively transition to a model of value-added economy. He emphasized the need for processing raw materials on the domestic market to increase product value and competitiveness in the external market. Koval noted that the price of Ukraine's agricultural exports is significantly lower than in other countries, indicating the existence of a 'poor raw material economy'. He also highlighted that the state provides support for the opening of processing plants through the provision of loans. Koval urged to make Ukrainian agricultural products competitive in the global market.
