Drone attacks are more effective than artillery strikes, but this does not mean that artillery strikes do not have advantages, as they actually shower the enemy’s territory with shells.
This was stated on the air of the FREEДОМ TV channel by the commander of the strike drones special unit "White Eagle", developer of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) Valeriy Borovyk.
He noted that drones are more pinpoint and mobile.
"If you missed the first Time, you can adjust the second time, or you go on target, see that you are not hitting, and you can go back to altitude, adjust and strike. Therefore, drones have made a very serious adjustment to the entire methodology of conducting war. And this is the first war that is going with such a massive use of drones, and quite effectively," Borovyk explained.
According to him, drones perform different functions.
"They adjust artillery strikes, the movement of special units, sabotage and reconnaissance groups. They also strike themselves or adjust other drones that strike, coordinate evacuation, supply, logistics. They do many things. But, I repeat, you cannot deny the necessity of using artillery, missile forces, and so on," said the commander of the strike drones special unit.
