The USA and Russia agreed on four principles of cooperation during negotiations in Riyadh, - Rubio.

There is a noticeable strengthening of efforts by the USA and Russia to end the war in Ukraine after negotiations in Riyadh, which did not involve Ukrainian representatives.
The meeting took place in the capital of Saudi Arabia on Tuesday. The parties agreed to appoint 'high-level teams to find ways to end the conflict in Ukraine.'
Russian negotiator Yuri Ushakov emphasized that a 'serious discussion of all the issues we wanted to resolve' took place.
CNN publishes agreed principles
CNN reports that U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio outlined four agreed principles: the resumption of diplomatic missions in Washington and Moscow; the appointment of high-level teams for negotiations on ending the conflict in Ukraine; the initiation of discussions on geopolitical and economic cooperation after the conflict ends; and maintaining constant communication between the five participants of the meeting to ensure a successful process.
Russia raised a new demand during the meeting. Russian Foreign Ministry representative Maria Zakharova stated that NATO must abandon the promise made at the Bucharest summit in 2008 regarding Ukraine's membership in the alliance.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky previously stated that his country would not make any agreements without its participation and emphasized that NATO membership is the only guarantee of Ukraine's sovereignty.
It is worth noting that the USA and Russia discussed a three-step peace plan for Ukraine conditional on new elections.
