Zelensky: Putin is afraid to tell Trump that he wants to continue the war.

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, reported that Russia rejects the US proposal for a ceasefire, setting unrealistic conditions. He made this statement in his evening address on March 13, already on the 1114th day of the war.
'We all heard very predictable, very manipulative words from Putin in response to the idea of silence at the front - he is actually preparing to refuse as of now', - emphasized the Ukrainian leader.
According to Zelensky, the Russian president 'is afraid to tell President Trump directly that he wants to continue this war, wants to kill Ukrainians'. Therefore, Moscow is trying to create preconditions to prevent progress in peace negotiations.
The Ukrainian side has already agreed to the US proposal for 'unconditional silence in the sky, at sea, and at the front'. President Zelensky emphasized that the US is ready to ensure control and verification of such a regime.
'Ukraine is ready to work quickly and constructively. We have no conditions that complicate the situation. Such conditions are set by Russia', - Zelensky emphasized.
The president also noted the diplomatic meetings that took place on March 13. He held negotiations with a delegation from the Netherlands Parliament and discussed further cooperation within the framework of the European Union.
A meeting also took place with a delegation of representatives from Turkey - government officials and businessmen. The parties discussed mutual investments and expanding business cooperation between the countries. Zelensky expressed gratitude to Turkey for supporting Ukraine's sovereignty and efforts to achieve peace.
In the evening, Zelensky, along with Turkish representatives, Ukrainian Muslims - military and civilians, as well as representatives of the Crimean Tatar people, participated in an iftar - a dinner that marks the end of the daily fast during the holy month of Ramadan.
In conclusion, the president expressed gratitude to the military units that 'hold positions on the ground and thus give diplomacy a chance' - the Third Brigade of the National Guard, the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade, the 59th Separate Assault Brigade of unmanned forces, and the 425th Separate Assault Regiment.
