'Saved thousands of lives': Zelensky evaluates American HIMARS on the front line.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky visited a military brigade in the Zaporizhzhia direction that uses American HIMARS rocket systems. According to him, the military is very satisfied with these weapon systems.

'HIMARS is a shining example of advanced, high-precision, effective, and reliable American weaponry,' the president said in a statement on social media.

Zelensky emphasized that the availability of long-range missiles has saved the lives of hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians. In particular, HIMARS have played an important role in defending Kherson and helped stop Russian aggression in Sumy this year. Currently, these systems are being used to protect the most challenging areas of the Donetsk front.

The president stressed the importance of long-range weapons for saving the lives of Ukrainian soldiers. 'It's one thing to lose munitions and missiles to stop the invaders, and quite another to lose people due to the lack of such defensive capabilities,' he emphasized.
