The Navy is ready to respond immediately to Russia's violations of the ceasefire in the Black Sea.

The Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are prepared to respond promptly to any possible provocations by Russia during a potential ceasefire in the Black Sea.
Spokesman for the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Dmytro Pletenchuk, reported this in a television broadcast.
'This has also been discussed by the country's top leadership, which means that the reaction will, of course, be adequate. And Defense Minister of Ukraine Rustem Umerov has also stated the requirement for the Russians not to leave the eastern part of the Black Sea, where they have the right to be according to law, that is, the Russian coastline, and where they have actually been for some Time,' the spokesman noted.
He emphasized that the ceasefire primarily implies the cessation of shelling of port infrastructure, ensuring the safety of the grain corridor, and maintaining Ukraine's export capabilities.
'As for military targets directly, for example, ships, this is not included,' the spokesman emphasized.
Pletenchuk stresses that the Naval Forces of Ukraine, together with partners, constantly monitor the surface and air situation in the Black Sea: 'But monitoring the surface situation and air situation is our daily work, which we perform together with partners, including technical means.'
The spokesman noted that this is not so difficult as it requires a political decision.
'In any case, until we see the final version of the document, which will state all the conditions, formalized and control measures, analyzing it is quite complicated,' Pletenchuk concluded.
