Several explosions occurred in Sevastopol, local public sources reported.

According to the Governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhayev, the explosions were caused by an attack from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which was responded to by the Russian air defense. Razvozhayev also reported the downing of the Neptune anti-ship missile over the water area. Later, he announced the end of the alert.

There are still no official comments from the Ukrainian authorities.

We remind you that the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, stated that Ukraine will never recognize the occupied territories. He also emphasized that Kyiv is ready to return Crimea through diplomatic means, not by military force.

Earlier, the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people stated that before official negotiations with Russia begin, Ukraine's territorial integrity must be restored within its internationally recognized borders. They consider any concessions in favor of territorial division unacceptable.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland, Radoslaw Sikorski, stated that Crimea plays a key role in the peace negotiations between Ukraine and Russia, so transferring the peninsula under the UN mandate may be one of the options for resolving the issue.

However, the Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Tamila Tasheva, stated that any proposals to transfer Crimea under protectorate or conduct new referendums violate the principles of international law and undermine Ukraine's sovereignty.

It is also worth noting that partisans in Crimea are constantly monitoring Russian movements in the waters of the Black Sea and the construction of defensive structures. They believe that the occupiers plan to return military ships to the bay in the future.
