President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the Ukrainian military continues to fulfill its tasks in the Kursk region, located in eastern Ukraine. He also added that the actions of the Ukrainian military have forced a significant number of Russian troops to withdraw from other areas.

Our troops continue to hold back Russian groups in the Kursk region. There is no encirclement of our troops in the vicinity. We are also observing the buildup of Russian army forces along the eastern border of Ukraine. This indicates an intention to attack the Sumy region. We understand this and will counteract. I wish for all our partners to understand what Putin is planning, what he is preparing for and deliberately ignoring.

According to Zelensky, the accumulation of Russian troops indicates Russia's intention to ignore diplomacy and continue the war.

It is obvious that Russia is dragging out the war. We are ready to provide our partners with real information about the situation at the front, in the Kursk region and along the border.

Additionally, Zelensky spoke about successes in the Ukrainian missile program. Tests of a new missile called 'Long Neptune' have been successful.

We have made significant progress. This new Ukrainian missile allows for precise strikes at a target from a distance of thousands of kilometers. We thank our Ukrainian developers, manufacturers, and military. We will continue to work to ensure Ukrainian security.

A small anti-submarine ship of the Russian fleet has also been spotted in Inkerman Bay. Russian troops continue to approach the borders of Ukraine in the Kursk region, particularly in the areas of Zaoleshenska and Hontcharivka.

NASA data confirms combat actions in these areas, and Russian sources report the capture of settlements.
