The Save Ukraine team managed to rescue two teenagers from the occupied part of the Zaporizhia region. This was reported by the head of the Zaporizhia Regional State Administration Ivan Fedorov.
“It was possible to rescue two boys from our region from the temporarily occupied territories as part of the Bringkidsback initiative,” noted Fedorov.
According to Fedorov, a 14-year-old teenager lived under occupation for three years without his father. He was summoned for interrogations by the FSB, his house was searched, and he was forced to study according to the Russian program. The child was a military and was forced to leave. The 15-year-old boy was also threatened by the FSB that he would be sent to a children's home. During this Time, he studied according to the Ukrainian online program.
Since 2022, a total of 74 children have been rescued from the temporarily occupied part of the Zaporizhia region.
It should be noted that 600 thousand children live in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. This was reported by the ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets during the presentation of the Special Report on access to education for children and youth from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
It is noted that only 7% of them receive education in Ukrainian schools online, while in regular schools, education is conducted according to Russian standards.
