Ukrenergo announced the power supply cutoff schedule for December 18: who will be affected.


Schedule of planned power outages for December 18
The National Energy Company 'Ukrenergo' published the schedule of planned power outages for Tuesday, December 18. According to this schedule, household consumers will experience outages from 07:00 to 20:00. Industry and businesses will also face power limitations during this period. The reason for such limitations is damage to energy facilities due to Russian missile and drone attacks in November-December.
De-energized populated areas
As of the morning of December 17, due to worsening weather conditions, 397 populated areas in 16 regions were de-energized, with the highest number in Khmelnytskyi region. Repair crews from the regional power companies are working on restoring electricity supply, and the completion of work is planned by the end of the day.
Electricity consumption
Electricity consumption on December 17 at 6:00 was 2% lower compared to the previous day due to an increase in air temperature. The maximum consumption on December 16 exceeded the indicators of the previous working day by 5.5% due to reduced restrictions.
Electricity import
To meet the electricity needs, Ukraine will import it from Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary, and Moldova with a total volume of 20,903 MWh, with a maximum capacity of up to 1,151 MW during certain hours.
