Participants of the meeting declared their support for Ukraine and their intention to assist it in countering Russian aggression.
The organizers of the event emphasized the necessity of a peaceful process and pressure on Russia to achieve a fair resolution of the conflict.
President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen stated: 'We reaffirm our support for Ukraine's agreement on a ceasefire. Now Russia must demonstrate that it is also ready for a ceasefire that will lead to a just and lasting peace.'
President of Lithuania Gitanas Nauseda noted: 'Lithuania is committed to long-term military support - no less than 0.25% of GDP for Ukraine.' This speaks to Lithuania's serious intentions to support Ukraine for a long Time.
Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof also expressed optimism regarding the possibility of achieving peace: 'The proposals from the USA and Ukraine for a temporary ceasefire sound encouraging. It is now important to continue to exert pressure on Russia to come to the negotiating table.'
