Ukraine to receive military equipment worth $4.5 billion from the UK.

Ukraine received $4.5 billion from the United Kingdom for military equipment procurement
Ukraine received 3.5 billion pounds sterling (approximately $4.5 billion) from the United Kingdom to acquire modern military equipment from British manufacturers.
A trade mission from the United Kingdom, including representatives from the Ministry of Defense, the Department for Business, Trade, and the ADS defense association, visited Ukraine for meetings with government and industry representatives, reports Ukrinform.
This is a continuation of the agreement signed in July, which allows Ukraine to use 3.5 billion pounds sterling (approximately 4.5 billion dollars) for the purchase of modern military equipment from British manufacturers.
"The United Kingdom's support for Ukraine is steadfast. By deepening our ties with the Ukrainian defense industry, we expand our own capabilities while enhancing Ukraine's capabilities. We stand side by side with Ukraine and will provide support as needed," said the UK Minister for the Armed Forces, Luke Pollard.
The Ministry of Defense has already signed contracts with several British companies, including Thales, which will produce anti-aircraft missiles, and Sheffield Forgemasters for the manufacture of artillery gun barrels. It is noted that future orders are in the preparation stage and will be funded by Ukraine using its own reserves and the 3.5 billion pounds sterling provided by the United Kingdom as export financing.
