Ukraine and the IMF agreed on the sixth review of the Extended Fund Facility Program
Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal reported that Ukraine and the IMF reached an agreement regarding the sixth review of the Extended Fund Facility (EFF) Program. This will allow for an additional 1.1 billion dollars for the state budget.
“We expect that the IMF Executive Board will make the relevant decision in the near future. The Fund noted our progress in meeting the structural benchmarks and commitments. They also emphasized that the Ukrainian economy continues to demonstrate resilience,” Shmyhal noted.
The Prime Minister expressed his gratitude to the IMF partners and the Ukrainian team for their successful and coordinated work aimed at strengthening and developing Ukraine.
