Ukraine continues its fight against unarmed enemies

According to Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, almost a quarter of Ukraine's territory is still littered with mines and ammunition. To counter this threat, 84 certified operators and 225 demining machines have been engaged, some of which are produced in Ukraine.

Private operators involved in demining have already received over 529 million hryvnias in compensation for their services. Support for farmers is also ongoing. To carry out this work, 3 billion hryvnias have been allocated from the budget.

Denys Shmyhal emphasized successful cooperation with foreign partners in this matter. The demining coalition includes the USA, Switzerland, the EU, Japan, Norway, Germany, Canada, the Netherlands, and Sweden. The head of government is confident that through joint efforts with these countries, it has been possible to return land to use and ensure safety for citizens.
