Disappointment: Scholz speaks about new negotiations with Putin.

Olaf Scholz is ready for further negotiations with Vladimir Putin
The Chancellor of Germany, Olaf Scholz, stated that he is ready for further negotiations with Vladimir Putin, despite the unsuccessful phone conversation in November this year, reports 'Hvylya' citing Aachener Zeitung.
Scholz characterizes the last conversation with Putin as a 'disappointment', but he notes that it was necessary to convey to Putin that German support for Ukraine remains unchanged. He also emphasizes that Putin must withdraw his troops to create conditions for peace.
Despite the disappointment from the previous conversation, Scholz is positively inclined towards further negotiations with Putin. He notes that while the talks may be difficult, they must take place to achieve peace.
We remind that Scholz also discussed the situation in Ukraine with US President Donald Trump.
