Ukraine has begun cooperation with the team of US President Donald Trump. This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelensky on his official Telegram channel.
'We have started working with President Trump's team and already feel that success is possible. Right now, the world looks to America as a power that can not only stop the war but also help ensure the reliability of peace after the war,' the president said.
Representatives of the Trump administration are heading to Saudi Arabia to begin peace negotiations with Russian and Ukrainian negotiators. This was reported by Politico, citing Congressman Mike McCaul and two American officials familiar with the plan.
On the night of February 16, the Russians attacked Mykolaiv with 'Shaheds.' As a result of the strike, a fire broke out and there is one injured person. This was reported by the head of the Mykolaiv OVA, Vitaliy Kim. According to him, after the Russian attack, all services are operational.
In Kyiv, an air alert was declared at 23:05. The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that UAVs are approaching the capital from the direction of Boryspil and warned of potential air defense activity.
At 4:18 in Kyiv, the air alert was lifted. The Kyiv City State Administration asks everyone to carefully follow the news and, in case of an alarm, return to shelter.
The alarm in the capital lasted about five hours. Fortunately, there were no attacks in Kyiv.
