Occupants of the Black Sea Fleet are evacuating families from Crimea to Russia.

According to the data from the Ukrainian Naval Forces, families of Russian sailors from the Black Sea Fleet in Crimea are forced to return to the Russian Federation because the occupation fleet in the peninsula has almost completely disappeared.
Russian ships have been in Novorossiysk for a long Time, said spokesman for the Ukrainian Naval Forces Dmytro Pletenchuk.
'Many families are forced to return to the RF, as their husbands, the Russian occupants from the Black Sea Fleet, have actually not served in Crimea for over a year. Russian ships have been in Novorossiysk for a long time and there are no prospects that they will return to Crimea. We hope that we will not see them there anymore,' Pletenchuk stated.
According to the spokesman for the Ukrainian Naval Forces, the main reason for the withdrawal of the Russian fleet from Crimea was the sinking of the last large landing ship of the enemy 'Caesar Kunikov' a year ago by the efforts of Ukrainian defense.
After that, Russian sailors were forced to use civilian ferries to transport weapons to their units. However, now there are no railway ferries, which used to be three, and they have to transport personnel with civilian ferries. Moreover, the volume of transportation has decreased. Large landing ships were an important component for transporting equipment and military personnel. After that incident, they practically stopped using such ships. This is one of the factors that influenced the overall decision to leave Crimea,' Pletenchuk explained.
