NYT: Ukraine has exceeded its goal of producing one million drones in 2024.

Ukraine is using homemade kamikaze drones that have changed the nature of military operations in the country, altering the strategy of resistance, reports The New York Times.
Ukraine has already reached President Zelensky's target of producing one million FPV drones by 2024 ahead of schedule. Moreover, the country has the potential to manufacture up to four million drones annually.
The government has implemented a number of measures to achieve this result, including lowering taxes, streamlining customs procedures and contract signing for drone manufacturers, as well as increasing revenue from sales of unmanned weapons.
One example of success is the company eDrone, which received an order for 40,000 drones. The company is already supplying 10,000 drones per month for the Ukrainian military.
Ukrainian drone forces plan to increase the number of drone specialists to 10,000 by the end of 2025.
The Army of Drones Bonus program uses a special board to count successful strikes. Participants upload videos of each attack to earn points that can be used to obtain additional combat drones.
Thanks to FPV drones, Ukrainian forces can accurately strike Russian equipment and personnel with minimal risk to operators.
