Ukraine's exports grew by almost 16%: key indicators for January-October.


In the first ten months of 2024, Ukraine's foreign trade volumes increased significantly.
According to the State Statistics Service, goods exports reached 34.7 billion USD, which is an increase of 15.7% compared to last year.
Import operations also rose by 10% and amounted to 57.4 billion USD. The trade balance is -22.7 billion USD, slightly more than last year's -22.2 billion. The export-to-import coverage ratio improved from 0.57 to 0.60.
The largest growth in exports is observed in the following categories:
electrical machines - an increase of 27.9%ferrous metals - an increase of 18%grain crops - an increase of 14.7%
In the structure of imports, supplies significantly increased for:
electrical machines - up by 33.6%nuclear reactors, boilers and machinery - up by 23.2%land transport (excluding rail) - up by 9%
Interestingly, the import of oil and oil products decreased by 14.1%. During the reporting period, Ukraine carried out foreign trade operations with partners from 228 countries around the world.
