Experts compared the scale of American and European military aid to Ukraine: whose support is greater.

The analytical platform Oryx reported that European countries have provided Ukraine with more heavy weapons than the United States. This is particularly true for aviation: European partners delivered 51 aircraft of various types out of a possible 85 new ones, while the US has not delivered any.
It is also worth noting that Europe transferred part of its F-16 fleet to Ukraine, while at the same Time acquiring newer and more expensive F-35s from the US.
There are also discrepancies in armored vehicles. European countries delivered 887 tanks, while the US limited itself to 31 Abrams tanks and 45 upgraded Soviet T-72s. Even Australia has promised to send more Abrams tanks to Ukraine than the US.
The number of infantry fighting vehicles delivered also shows a significant advantage for European countries: 1086 units compared to 300 American Bradleys. In the category of self-propelled artillery systems, the difference is even greater: 762 units from Europe compared to 18 from the US.
Especially in terms of air defense, specifically the Patriot systems, Europe made a significant contribution: Germany provided three batteries and six additional launchers, the Netherlands - five launchers, Romania - one battery, which was funded by the US and Norway. Additionally, European partners delivered two SAMP/T systems – equivalents of Patriot. Meanwhile, the US has only provided two batteries.
It should be noted that the European contribution is significantly larger, and in some cases even exceeds the American contribution. Particularly striking are the relative aid figures: Denmark has provided Ukraine with all its available armored vehicles, while the US only delivers a small fraction of its stock, emphasizing the cost of its assistance.
It is also worth noting the methodology used to calculate the cost of assistance. The US takes into account the price of new orders to replenish stocks, rather than the used equipment provided, distorting the overall picture of international support.
Earlier, Ukraine received its first Mirage 2000 fighter jets.
