UAF advanced near Svatove: ISW maps.

Intense fighting continues along the entire front line. Ukrainian defenders have made progress near Svatove in Luhansk region, but the enemy continues offensive actions in Donetsk region, attempting to break the UAF defenses. This is stated in a report by the Institute for the Study of War.

Luhansk direction

Ukrainian troops have regained previously lost positions to the northwest of Svatove, along wind-shelter strips to the west of Kyslivka. This indicates active actions by the UAF and successful resistance against Russian occupiers on this section of the front. Simultaneously, the Russians are not giving up attempts to advance east of Kruglyakivka towards Kolisnyky.

Fierce battles continue in the areas of Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Stepova Novosilka, Hlushkivka, Kruglyakivka, Kotliarivka, Stelmakhivka, Lozova, Druzhieliubivka, Cherneshchyna, Hrekivka, Nevske, Novosadove, Makiivka, Torske, Terny, and Dibrova. Russian propaganda spreads unverified information about the capture of Makiivka and Nevske, as well as advances in the area of Novolubivka.

Donetsk direction

Russian troops have made minor gains to the south of Toretsk, advancing along Khobrusiev and New Yorkska streets in the central part of New York. The occupiers have also advanced east and southeast of Pokrovsk, to the southern outskirts of Kruty Yar and west of Mykhailivka.

The heaviest fighting continues in Donetsk region. The UAF bravely defend against the enemy's offensive in the areas of Siversk, Chasiv Yar, Klishchiivka, Hryhorivka, Maiske, Kalynivka, Ivanivske, Andriivka, Stupochky, Bila Hora, Dachne, Shcherbynivka, Vozdvyzhenka, Novotoretske, Hrodivka, Krasny Yar, Novohrodivka, Selydove, Marynivka, Mykhailivka, and Hirnyk.

Russian sources spread unverified information about the advancement of Russian troops west of Donetsk, the capture of Hostre, and movement in the area of Maksymilianivka, Oleksandropil, Krasnohorivka, and Selydiv Penal Colony No. 82.

Kharkiv direction

Positional battles continue near Hlyboke and Vovchansk without significant changes to the front line. There is information that the Russians are transitioning to defense in the Kharkiv direction and redeploying recruits from “Storm-Z” and former “Wagnerites” there.

Southern direction

In the south, the enemy continues offensive actions in the Zaporizhzhia region near Hulyaipole and in the area of Robotyne, Novodanilivka, and Novoandriivka, but without confirmed advances.
