The President noted that negotiations had already taken place and preparations are being made for new steps in the near future. He emphasized the importance of substantive diplomacy for the rapid conclusion of the war.
Zelenskyy stated that Ukrainians are most eager for peace due to the devastating consequences of the war for the country. 'We need real peace, and Ukrainians want this the most, because the war destroys our cities and villages, we are losing our people,' the President stated.

The President confirmed that Ukraine is actively cooperating with American and European partners to end hostilities. 'We are working together with America and European partners and are counting on America's support on the path to peace,' the President noted.
In his message, Zelenskyy also highlighted the importance of ensuring Ukraine's security. 'We need to stop the war and guarantee security. Peace is needed for us as soon as possible,' he said.
