The enemy has advanced in several directions, the Armed Forces of Ukraine succeeded near Pokrovsk – ISW maps.

The report by the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW) indicates that the Armed Forces of Ukraine managed to regain control over previously lost positions in the Pokrovsk area. However, Russian occupiers continue to advance in other sectors of the front.
Operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Kursk Region
In the Kursk region, Russian troops, during battles that took place on November 20, advanced into the main 'Ukrainian foothold' controlled by Ukrainian forces. The presence of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in these areas is not confirmed by ISW experts.
Kharkiv Region
In the areas of Vovchansk and Starytsia, Russian troops continue to conduct offensive actions, but without success.
Luhansk Region
Russian troops have advanced to the western part of Hlushkivka in the Kupiansk area. However, this information is not confirmed by ISW analysts. Furthermore, the lack of foliage in the Kharkiv direction complicates the situation for both sides.
Donetsk Region
No combat operations took place in the Sever direction on November 20. However, Russian military forces are constantly under pressure from Ukrainian drones.
South
Russian invaders continue their offensive in the western part of the Zaporizhia region. However, there have been no changes detected on the front line.
Thus, according to ISW data, the situation in eastern Ukraine remains tense, with shifts in the front line in certain areas. However, the return of control over some positions indicates the success of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
