Selection of candidates for the Anti-Corruption Council at the Ministry of Defense. Following the scandal, the voting was postponed.

On Thursday, December 26, an online vote for the selection of members of the public Anti-Corruption Council at the Ministry of Defense was to take place. However, due to numerous complaints, it was postponed to the next month.
The voting was supposed to last from 09:00 to 21:00, and 15 representatives were to be elected from 40 candidates living on the territory of Ukraine.
After the voting began, many users reported that voting was impossible. For many, a blank screen simply appeared or the page did not load.
Many Ukrainians commented on the Ministry of Defense's post on Facebook and contacted the government with the problem.
Despite the fact that the voting was supposed to begin at 09:00, some had already voted at 08:00 and reported it. The elections started earlier, and now they will likely have to be canceled and conducted again. You and your subordinates will continue to operate without a functioning Anti-Corruption Council. You bear responsibility for this, Mr. Minister.
— Yuriy Hudymenko, leader of the "Democratic Axe" movement
After the complaints received, the Ministry of Defense decided to postpone the voting. In the statement, it was noted that in order to maintain trust in the process and its transparency, the organization made the following decisions:
- To annul the results of today's voting;
- To postpone the holding to January 7, 2025;
- The voting will take place at the same Time: from 09:00 to 21:00.
We remind that within the "Army+" project, a new program for the military called "Plus" has been introduced. The program offers defenders numerous advantages in everyday life, including discounts on goods and services from various companies.
