The government has simplified the process of receiving pensions and social benefits for IDPs and Ukrainians abroad.

The government has established unified conditions for pension payments for all citizens of Ukraine, regardless of their location. Previously, certain categories of pensioners had a more complex process to receive their pensions, but these issues have now been resolved. Pensioners can now receive their pensions at any bank in the country, not just Oschadbank.
In addition, citizens who temporarily reside abroad or in temporarily occupied territories must conduct physical identification once a year. This process must take place by December 31.
If pensioners live in temporarily occupied territories, they are also required to carry out financial transactions on their account at least once every six months if they have not undergone physical identification during this Time.
All these requirements help confirm that a pensioner living outside of the territory controlled by Ukraine is receiving their pension and is alive.
'We would like to point out that the payment of pensions to citizens in temporarily occupied territories and to those who have left these territories occurs upon confirmation of the absence of a pension from the Russian Federation. To do this, one must submit an application to the Pension Fund of Ukraine regarding the non-receipt of a pension from the Russian Federation,' the Ministry of Social Policy reported.
