New Trump advisor's decree: Ukraine should forget about Crimea
Senior advisor to the newly elected President Donald Trump, Brian Lanza, stated that Ukraine should forget about Crimea. He emphasized that the new administration will work on achieving peace in Ukraine but will not focus on the return of Ukrainian territories occupied by Russia.
In an interview with the BBC, Trump's advisor noted that Trump's team will ask Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to present his version of a "realistic vision of peace." At the same Time, Lanza stressed that if Zelensky prioritizes the return of Crimea, it will indicate his inconsistency.
Brian Lanza also respects the Ukrainian people but emphasizes that the US priority is achieving peace and stopping the killings. He also expressed his criticism of the military support for Ukraine from the US and other partners.
