In the case of an accident caused by BEB official Tkachuk, investigators want to seize all medical documentation of the woman left without legs.

In July this year, the head of the detective division of the BEB, Oleksandr Tkachuk, driving a Toyota car, got into an accident as a result of which a woman lost both legs. Despite this, Tkachuk did not become a suspect, was not removed from office, and no preventive measure was chosen. Instead, the court decided to seize the medical documents of the victim.
«To grant permission to the investigator of the Second Investigation Department of the Territorial Division of the State Bureau of Investigations, located in Kyiv, Person_3, for temporary access with the possibility of seizing original medical documentation, including inpatient medical records, X-ray images, MRI results, CT scans, and other research under the name: Person_6, Information_2, which are located in KPI «Information_5», located at the address: address_2»».
Also, if the woman refuses to hand over her original medical documents to the investigator, the court allowed searches to be conducted.
«In case of non-compliance with the decision on temporary access to things and documents, the investigating judge, the court upon the request of the party in criminal proceedings granted the right to access things and documents based on the decision, has the right to issue a decision on permission to conduct a search according to the provisions of this Code to find and seize the specified things and documents».
It should be noted that for the woman to obtain the status of a disabled person as a result of the accident, she needs original medical documents such as an outpatient medical card, form 088/c and certificates from various specialists confirming her health condition.
Recall that on July 17, 2024, Oleksandr Tkachuk crashed into a stationary Dodge and the woman Krystyna Bezruk while driving an unregistered Toyota Camry, causing her a serious injury - the loss of her lower limbs.
