On the evening of August 28, an air raid alert was declared in Kyiv and some regions of Ukraine due to the threat of ballistic weapon usage. The Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported a missile heading towards the Kyiv region. In connection with this, Ukrainians were urged to stay in safe places.
At 21:42, in Kyiv and the regions, the alert was called off. The entire incident lasted less than 20 minutes.
Previously, it was prohibited to film and distribute videos of the air defense system's operations and the consequences of missile strikes. Residents of regions where an air raid alert is declared are asked to remain calm and head to shelters in case of danger.
