Housing Rent Subsidy: Ukrainians Named the Condition for Receiving.

Ukrainians were explained who will be awarded the housing rent subsidy.
The first deputy minister of social policy Daria Marchak reported this.
According to her, any IDP family renting housing and feeling that the rental costs are too high can apply for the subsidy.
To receive a subsidy, the rental costs must not exceed 20% of the family's income.
If the IDP family has low income, the difference between income and the amount of rent covered by the subsidy can be even greater.
'The only thing you need to do is to visit the pension fund, submit an application, and show that you have an official relationship with the landlord – a rental agreement. If there is no such agreement, the pension fund has a standard agreement form that you can fill out right there, sign it together with your landlord, and the subsidy will be assigned to your expenses,' - explained Marchak.
The mechanism for assigning the housing rent subsidy is similar to the mechanism for assigning subsidies for utility payments.
We understand that not every landlord formalizes the relationship officially, but it is important to have an official agreement that provides legal protection for both parties.
'The landlord is protected in that the tenant will have to compensate for the damage caused. For tenants, the rental agreement serves as protection against eviction or rent increases,' - Marchak stated.
As part of the experimental project, taxes that landlords have to pay will be compensated.
This is a new initiative and part of the experimental project.
It is worth noting that in Ukraine, a double subsidy is being introduced for displaced persons.
