The Ukrainian and American delegations will meet in Saudi Arabia

Next week, a meeting of the Ukrainian and American delegations will take place in Saudi Arabia to discuss bilateral relations, strategic partnership, and ways to achieve peace. The Ukrainian delegation will be led by President Volodymyr Zelensky, reported the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Georgiy Tikhy, during a briefing.

'The agenda is clear to everyone: Ukrainian-American bilateral relations, our strategic partnership and its further development, and of course, at the center of the conversation is the path to peace. Ukraine is constructively oriented. Ukraine is ready and eager for peace like no one else. And we want to restore this peace quickly,' Tikhy noted.

According to the diplomat, bilateral Ukrainian-American consultations will take place in Riyadh without the participation of the Russian side. 'There is no information that there will be Russians there,' the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized.

Tikhy also commented on the possibility of signing an agreement on cooperation regarding mineral resources with the USA: 'I think this meeting, which will take place in Saudi Arabia, is one of the opportunities. It's true, but let's not get ahead of ourselves and see how events will develop further.'

President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed the fact of the upcoming meeting of the teams of Ukraine and the USA in Saudi Arabia next week.
