The Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that they have eliminated the commander of the UAV special unit 'Akhmat' with the call sign Amur. This unit is part of the operational group led by Ramzan Kadyrov, the head of the Chechen Republic. This was announced by the unit commander Apti Alaudinov.

'The commander has passed into eternity! The commander of the heavenly forces of UAV with the call sign Amur. Rest in peace, brother. To be a warrior is to live forever,' wrote Alaudinov.

According to the 'Militarny' publication, Kadyrov's unit uses FPV drones with fiber optics, as well as kamikaze drones 'Molniya-2' and reconnaissance drones Supercam. According to Russian media, in one of the interviews, the eliminated 'Amur' stated the need to 'continue the fight to the last'.

Not disclosing the circumstances of Amur's death, Alaudinov noted that the special unit 'Akhmat' was sent to the Kursk region in the summer of 2024 before the advance of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It is likely that the militant died in the Kursk region.

Moreover, the special unit 'Akhmat' was accused of Chechen fighters abandoning their positions in the Kursk region, leaving conscript soldiers. The commander of 'Akhmat,' Apti Alaudinov, explained that Ukrainian soldiers simply passed by 'Akhmat's' strongholds without engaging in combat.

Earlier, the Armed Forces eliminated the Russian athlete Oleksandr Pravda.

In addition, the commander of the special forces 'Akhmat' Major General Apti Alaudinov stated that Russian soldiers impersonate Ukrainian fighters to deceive the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
