Russian commander suspected of using prohibited weapons.


The Ukrainian Security Service reported that the commander of the Russian Federation, Roman Shkrob, has been suspected of being ordered to use prohibited chemical weapons against Ukrainian fighters in the Donetsk region. This was reported by 'Hlavkom'.
Roman Shkrob is the commander of the 123rd motorized rifle brigade from Russia.
According to the investigation, on December 20, 2023, Shkrob ordered his subordinates to use chemical grenades K-51 and RG-V against Ukrainian fighters in the Donetsk region. The enemy attempted to breach the defense of Ukrainian forces during battles near the village of Spirne.
«By using grenades with a chemical charge, including tear gas, the Russians hoped to force Ukrainian soldiers out of their shelters during the attack of enemy assault groups», - claims the SBU.
Shkrob has been suspected under Part 2 of Article 28, Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (war crime by prior conspiracy of a group of persons).
Previously, singer Yaroslav Dronov, who openly expresses support for and promotes Russian aggression against Ukraine, was announced as a suspect by the Security Service.
'Hlavkom' also reported on the inclusion of Russian writer-propagandist Alexander Pelevin in the list of individuals who pose a threat to national security, by the decision of the National Council of Ukraine on Television and Radio Broadcasting.
