Pro-Russian Journalist or Slander? Court Decides Controversy between Kryukova and the Publication.

Svetlana Kryukova lost the lawsuit against the publication 'Special Correspondents', which called her a 'pro-Russian journalist, collaborator, and traitor who divides society and works for the RF'. The court considers that these statements are evaluative judgments and lack factual confirmation.
Kryukova linked the publication to a Facebook post by soldier Roman Sinitsin, who suggested sanctions against her. The journalist has also filed lawsuits against other individuals for similar statements.
The court believes that Kryukova's positions are evaluative judgments and are not subject to refutation. The decision was made by Judge Irina Litvinova. It is worth noting that the 'Special Correspondents' website belongs to a limited liability company of the same name, founded by lawyers Dmitry Piven and Ivanna Cherniy from 'Barristers' law firm. Lawyer Alexey Shevchuk represents Kryukova's interests in court.
Svetlana Kryukova previously worked for pro-Russian media 'Strana.ua', which was blocked in Ukraine. She has also been subject to sanctions by the President of Ukraine.
Recently, Kryukova's car burned in Kyiv, and the police are investigating this incident.
