Constant Advance of the Russian Federation in Chasiv Yar and Advancements near Kurakhove - ISW Report.


Russian forces continue to carry out attacks in Ukraine, particularly in the areas of Chasiv Yar and Kurakhove. This is claimed by analysts from the Institute for the Study of War. There has also been observed advancement of Russian troops in the Kursk and Kharkiv regions. Meanwhile, the head of the Belgorod region refuted reports of the entry of a Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group into their territory.
In the Kharkiv region, fighting continues in the areas of Vovchansk and Starytsia. Ukrainian forces report the use of artillery shells by the Russian army, manufactured in North Korea. In the Luhansk region, offensive operations by Russian forces are also ongoing. Meanwhile, an explosion in Luhansk was recorded, resulting in the death of a man and the injury of a woman.
In the Donetsk region, Russian forces continue to advance in various directions. North of Toretsk, in the area of Diliivka, and to the southwest, towards Romanivka. There is also observed advancement of Russian troops to the east of Kurakhove.
In the west of the Zaporizhzhia region, Russian forces continue to attack Ukrainian positions. The use of Ukrainian electronic warfare systems and radio communication problems in Russian forces have also been observed. Meanwhile, the forces continue to engage in low-intensity combat operations.
The enemy launched two missile strikes, 47 air strikes, and carried out over 3,000 shellings.
