The weather is preparing an unpleasant surprise: forecaster Didenko warned what to expect for Christmas and New Year.


Forecaster Natalia Didenko warned that a significant drop in temperature is expected in Ukraine.
According to her, the lowest temperatures at night will be in the eastern regions of Ukraine, including Poltava, Chernihiv, Sumy, Zaporizhzhia, and Dnipropetrovsk regions. There, temperatures are expected to be between -3 to -7 degrees Celsius.
In other parts of Ukraine, temperatures at night will range from -1 degree to +3 degrees Celsius.
However, during the day, it will feel noticeably warmer. In the eastern region, temperatures will reach between +1 to +3 degrees Celsius, while in the north, it is expected to be between +3 to +6 degrees. In the central part of the country, it will be slightly warmer, with readings from +3 to +7 degrees Celsius. The western regions will experience mild weather with temperatures ranging from +5 to +10 degrees. And it will be most comfortable in the south, where temperatures will reach +6 to +11 degrees.
Precipitation - snow transitioning to wet snow, and rain during the day - is only likely in the east and northeast of Ukraine. In a significant part of the territory, tomorrow will be dry.
In Kyiv on December 19, nighttime temperatures will drop to 0-2 degrees, while during the day it will be +4 to +6 degrees. No precipitation is expected, with gusty southwestern winds.
The forecaster also reported that on December 21-22, a slight cooling is expected, but daytime temperatures will still remain positive.
Preliminary forecasts suggest that Christmas Eve and Christmas will also not be frosty; precipitation is more likely in the southwest and west of Ukraine. New Year's, according to preliminary forecasts, does not seem to be associated with frosts.
