Russian Invaders Attacked Cherkasy Region with Drones
At night and in the morning, Russian invaders attacked the Cherkasy region with strike drones. Due to the fall of debris from downed targets in Smila, windows were shattered in several houses, but there were no casualties. This was reported by the head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration Igor Taburets.
«From evening to morning, the enemy did not give peace to the defenders of our sky. They successfully repelled most of the attacks», – said the head of the region.
According to preliminary data, a total of 20 enemy UAVs were destroyed within the Cherkasy region by air defense forces, mobile fire teams, and thanks to electronic warfare counteractions. At the same Time, there were several hits on open areas in Cherkasy. There were no casualties.
«Due to the fall of debris in Smila, windows were shattered in several houses. Also, in four cases, dry vegetation caught fire. The fires are currently extinguished. The territory survey is ongoing», – noted Taburets.
Recall that explosions were heard in the Cherkasy region today at 04:47.
For your information, late in the evening of September 23, the enemy launched massive airstrikes on Zaporizhzhia. A man died, and the number of wounded increased to six, including two children.
In addition, on the night of September 24, the enemy attacked the Poltava region with strike drones. Debris from downed targets damaged the energy infrastructure, leaving 20 settlements without power.
