Zelensky expressed his reaction to the strike on Dobropillya

Volodymyr Zelensky, President of Ukraine, commented on yesterday's strike by the Russian Federation on Dobropillya in Donetsk region. This was reported by 'Glavcom' citing the head of state’s social media.

'Last night, the Russian army hit the center of Dobropillya in Donetsk region with two ballistic missiles. After our services arrived at the scene, another strike was deliberately aimed at the rescuers. A vile and inhumane tactic for intimidation, which the Russians often resort to,' the message reads.

Currently, 11 fatalities are known. More than 30 people are injured, of which five are children.

In addition, eight five-story buildings and an administrative building, a fire truck were damaged.

'Such strikes demonstrate that Russia's goals remain unchanged. Therefore, it is very important to continue doing everything to protect lives, strengthen our air defense, and tighten sanctions against Russia. Everything that helps Putin finance the war must be broken,' Zelensky added.

In the Prosecutor's Office of Donetsk region, it was clarified that preliminarily, the enemy was striking the city with 'Iskander-M' missiles, 'Tornado-S' MLRS, and 'Geranium-2' UAVs.

It is worth noting that on the night of March 8, around 02:00, Russian terrorists attacked Zaporizhzhia.

Also, around 2:00, Russian terrorists struck a civilian enterprise in Bohodukhiv, Kharkiv region with a drone.
