Milovanov Discusses Conflict with Journalist Over Grant Refusal

Tymofiy Milovanov, former Minister of Economy of Ukraine, published screenshots of the correspondence with journalist Yanina Sokolova, which arose due to the refusal to provide a grant. The KSE Charity Fund Committee decided that other projects better met the criteria.

Milovanov emphasized that the committee's refusal is a normal matter, but Sokolova is reacting too impulsively, accusing him of not keeping promises. The journalist denied his claims and questions his honesty and ability to keep his word.

This conflict arose after Milovanov had a quarrel with a Ukrainian deputy in Poland regarding plagiarism in the dissertation of KPI Rector Anatoliy Melnychenko.
