Two power engineers killed during Russian attack in Odesa region.

As a result of the attack by Russian forces, two employees of the 'Ukrenergo' substation - Dmytro Kaminnyi and Maksym Shahrhorodskyi - were killed. This was reported by the company's press service.

Dmytro Kaminnyi worked for the company for 16 years, and for the last six years he was a dispatcher at one of the substations where he was killed on November 17. Maksym Shahrhorodskyi, who had been working at the substation since 2005, also died as a result of this attack. He was an electrical locksmith and electrician, and after mobilization, he returned to his job as an electrician.

The Ministry of Energy emphasized that Kaminnyi and Shahrhorodskyi were working at the 'Ukrenergo' substation in the Odesa region, which was directly hit by enemy fire.

Let me remind you that Volodymyr Putin failed to plunge Ukraine into darkness. The energy infrastructure withstood the attack relatively easily, but the Odesa region, Lviv region, Rivne region, Ivano-Frankivsk region, and Volyn suffered some damage.

Mass Launch of Missiles and Drones

On November 17, Russian occupation forces launched a mass firing of missiles of various types. According to Herman Halushchenko, Russia fired approximately 120 missiles and 90 drones, but as a result of air defense, more than 140 targets were destroyed. Energy system facilities across the country were captured by terrorists, and after that, emergency power outages were introduced.
