33-year-old volleyball player from Kropyvnytskyi Andriy Romanov was involved in the war against Russian occupiers. This was reported by the Volleyball Federation of Ukraine.

Andriy initially engaged in volunteer work and then decided to join the Defense Forces, where he served as a combat medic.

It is difficult to find the right words now. Acquaintance, comrade, friend, loved one. He was always so... positive.

Andriy Romanov is survived by his wife and young son.

Additionally, actor Oleksiy Samoylenko was killed on the front lines on February 19. He joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the very first days of Russia's invasion.

I still can't understand this. We met just a few days ago when Lyosha was in Kyiv. I want to remember him alive and carefree, just like he was that day. He never talked too much or complained. He had such sincerity and dignity that I always felt a little ashamed of myself next to him.

Oleksiy Samoylenko was also a talented actor born in Donetsk region, where his ancestors are buried. His girlfriend wrote that such a kind heart is no longer found in anyone.
