Large pension indexing in March: how much Ukrainians will receive after recalculation.

In the draft budget of the Pension Fund of Ukraine, published on the website of the Federation of Trade Unions of Ukraine, it is stated that after the indexing of pensions in March, citizens will pay more.
The Pension Fund plans to increase pensions by 10% from March 1.
'It is planned to conduct recalculations of pensions/monthly insurance payments in 2025 in connection with the indexing of pension and social payments with a coefficient of 1.10 starting from 03.01.2025' - says the draft.
The amount of pensions in March will depend on the growth of salaries and inflation over the past three years.
Formula for pension increase
During the indexation of pensions, the amounts will be increased according to the established formula. For example, if the pension increases by 8% according to the formula, then in fact 2361 hryvnias will be paid instead of 1230 hryvnias.
The exact amount of pension increases will be known in March when calculations regarding salaries and price increases are ready. The calculation formula includes half of the annual inflation and half of the salary growth over the past three years.
This increase only applies to 'old' pensions; new retirees will not receive it.
Last year, restrictions on pension growth were introduced. It is still unknown whether these restrictions will remain this year.
Additionally, in Ukraine, a supplement was introduced for pensioners who turned 65 years old.
