Mass shelling of Zaporizhzhia: the number of wounded has reached six, including children (video).


On the evening of September 23, the enemy carried out a series of airstrikes on Zaporizhzhia. As a result, one man died and six more people, including a 13-year-old girl and a 15-year-old boy, were injured. This was reported by the head of the Zaporizhzhia regional military administration, Ivan Fedorov.
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES) showed a video of the rescue operation in Zaporizhzhia.

According to the rescuers, on September 23, the Russian army carried out airstrikes on the regional center within two hours after 21:00. Private houses were damaged, one of which was completely destroyed.
The rescuers were engaged in extinguishing fires in outbuildings, garages, and open areas. As a result of the rescue operation, it was possible to bring out a puppy from the destroyed house and hand it over to the neighbors.
67 rescuers and 13 units of equipment were involved at the scene. Police, explosives technicians, volunteers of the Rapid Response Unit of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society, and other specialized city services are working.
Earlier, it was reported about one dead and five injured as a result of airstrikes on Zaporizhzhia.
It is worth recalling that late in the evening of September 22, the Russian troops attacked Zaporizhzhia with airstrikes. The rescuers, who arrived at the scene, evacuated residents from damaged houses and extinguished a fire that started in a car and on the balcony of one of the apartments. The number of victims reached 22 people.
After this, Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia regional military administration, urged residents of Zaporizhzhia to be more careful during air raids. He recommended staying in shelters or following the "two walls" rule, as well as closely monitoring official sources of information.
