Lina Kostenko spoke about how she feels at 95 years old.


Ukrainian poetess, writer, and public figure Lina Kostenko, who turned 95 on March 19, shared her feelings during the celebration of her anniversary with lines from a poem. The relevant video was published by the people's deputy of Ukraine and honored doctor of Ukraine Olga Bohomolets, informs «Glavcom».
When asked about her well-being at 95, Lina Kostenko quoted: «Where have you gone, youth? My youth is still here!».
The writer also shared how many years she feels, but did it in an unusual way. She noted: «How many years do I feel? Now I will tell you a poem – it’s somehow easier that way».
«I stretch Time like reins,My minutes are already neighing...I no longer know: what, when, where...I love everyone – as long as they don't disturb!
Am I going into the night? Have peonies bloomed?Already? Really? My character – like a tiger?What are you saying? No! Ah – and there's no time,Oh, Lord, I haven't accomplished anything again!
Are you calling? Well, life – is a movie!And what kind of audience, nothing like ignorant ones?Is this already – old age knocking on the window?!Forget it: say – there's no one home!», replied Kostenko.
Let us remind you, on March 19, the outstanding Ukrainian poetess, writer, and public figure Lina Kostenko celebrated her anniversary. One of the most influential figures in modern Ukrainian culture turned 95 years old.
It should be noted that Lina Kostenko, who turned 95 on March 19, celebrated her birthday surrounded by prominent Ukrainians. People's deputy Knyazhytsky showed a photo of them all gathered at a table to congratulate Lina Kostenko on her birthday.
By the way, Lina Kostenko's daughter, Oksana Pahlivska, shared how her mother is feeling: «Everything is fine with mom, she is at home; since the beginning of the full-scale war, I have been with her in Kyiv».
In particular, a bust of the outstanding poetess and writer Lina Kostenko was installed at the National Academic Ukrainian Drama Theater named after Mariya Zankovetska. The sculpture was created by the famous Lviv artist Yaroslav Motyka, who passed away on March 1 of this year.
