The UK Secretary of State for Defence, Luke Pollard, announced that in January next year, the United Kingdom, along with its partners, will begin supplying tens of thousands of combat drones to Ukraine as part of maritime and unmanned coalitions. He stated this during hearings in the House of Commons.

'I can confirm that there will be a significant shift in January when we start supplying tens of thousands of drones as part of the maritime and unmanned coalition of capabilities led by the UK together with our Norwegian and Latvian partners,' he stated.

Pollard also noted that Britain will continue training Ukrainian military personnel in 2025 as part of the multinational training program Interflex, which involves another 12 partner countries. To date, 51,000 Ukrainian defenders have completed training under this program.

'Every person we train, every Ukrainian who undergoes training, is a message to Putin that Ukraine is not alone,' the minister remarked.

Moreover, next year's plans include strengthening the defense sector in Ukraine, Britain, and across Europe, 'so that Putin has no doubt' that there are various ways to support Ukraine in its fight.

At the same Time, the official emphasized that Britain will continue to work with allies to enhance international support for Ukraine and to increase pressure on Russia.

'And we will continue to expose malicious cyberattacks and Russia's disinformation efforts, as well as hostile operations by its intelligence services,' Pollard stressed.
