Ukrainian media reports that European countries are discussing the possibility of deploying a military contingent in Ukraine after the signing of a peace agreement. This was stated by the spokesman of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Christophe Lemont. France is considering the possibility of providing forces to ensure the implementation of the agreement, but is not considering sending combat troops. According to a representative of the French ministry, sending European troops to Ukraine should be one of the possible mechanisms to end the war. Earlier, Presidents Trump and Macron also commented on the possibilities of ending the conflict and ensuring security in Ukraine.
