Yermak had a conversation with Voltz on the steps towards a just peace.

The Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak had a conversation with the advisor to the US President Michael Voltz
On March 5, a phone conversation took place between the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak and the US President's National Security Advisor Michael Voltz. During the conversation, they discussed further steps to achieve a just and lasting peace in Ukraine.
The parties also expressed their views on security issues and ensuring unity in the bilateral relations between Ukraine and the United States.
'We agreed on a meeting of our teams in the near future to continue this important work,' Andriy Yermak emphasized.
Earlier, Michael Voltz and Andriy Yermak had already discussed the place and date of future peace negotiations. The US President's advisor called these contacts 'a positive step forward.'
'We are already talking about the next steps to build trust, which we will then convey to the Russians and verify. It will be a complex diplomacy, but both sides must participate. I believe we are moving in a positive direction,' Michael Voltz added.
These diplomatic efforts are taking place simultaneously with Ukraine's development of a comprehensive action plan to achieve a just peace. President Volodymyr Zelensky previously stated that the document is being prepared 'extremely quickly' and entails strengthening the Ukrainian state and ensuring security.
The decision to prepare the plan was made during the summit of leaders in London. The President of Ukraine also held phone consultations with European leaders, emphasizing the importance of international unity in the peace process.
'Europe has a common vision for ending the war and ensuring security. It must be present at the table in future negotiations along with Ukraine and the USA,' Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized.
