ICRC closes office in Dnipro after attack on humanitarian mission
The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) ceases the operation of the office in Dnipro after an attack on the humanitarian mission vehicles. This was announced by Oleksandr Vlasenko, the spokesperson for the ICRC delegation in Ukraine, on Radio Liberty.
According to Vlasenko: "We have offices in Kharkiv, Dnipro, and Odesa, as well as the main office in Kyiv and an office in Lviv, and on the opposite side in Donetsk and Luhansk. So for now, our Dnipro office has ceased operations for some Time," he said.
Vlasenko added that the Red Cross will conduct its investigation to find out if "there were any mistakes on our side".
Let us remind you that on September 12 in Donetsk region, militants attacked the vehicles of the ICRC humanitarian mission. The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, reported three dead. Necessary assistance was provided to two wounded persons.
