Britain and France present Trump with a plan to deploy a peacekeeping contingent in Ukraine: what is known.

Negotiations on the deployment of foreign contingents in Ukraine will take place in Washington. Keir Starmer and Emmanuel Macron will present the peacekeeping forces plan in case a ceasefire agreement is reached between Ukraine and the Russian Federation.
According to the plan, American troops will not be deployed directly in Ukraine, but European forces will ensure air defense and air support from neighboring countries in case of a threat from the Russian Federation.
The British and French will protect infrastructure, cities, and Black Sea ports. The implementation of the plan depends on Trump’s support.
Starmer will discuss the plan with Trump, while Macron will present the allies' vision on Monday.
Earlier, Starmer promised to deploy troops in Ukraine, but the German Chancellor and Poland have reservations about it. The USA will also not deploy troops in Ukraine.
According to The New York Times, Zelensky proposed to deploy 100,000 Ukrainian soldiers, but this is unrealistic. Even Europe cannot gather 40,000 soldiers.
